Never miss a deadline again
Quarterly estimates, franchise tax, filing dates — we track every deadline that applies to you, and we file on time.
Licensed CPAs, not software
A real accountant reviews your numbers and answers your calls. When the IRS sends a letter, you're not on your own.
Here in July, not just April
Tax strategy happens during the year, not after it ends. We plan ahead so April is a formality, not a fire drill.

How it works
From first call to filed — in three steps
Step one
A 15-minute conversation
You tell us where things stand — even if the answer is "honestly, it's a mess." No judgment. We've seen shoeboxes of receipts and three years of unfiled returns. We give you a clear plan and a fixed quote.
Step two
We do the heavy lifting
You securely upload your documents once. We reconcile, categorize, prepare, and review — then walk you through everything before anything is filed. You approve; we file.
Step three
You stay covered all year
Books arrive monthly. Deadlines are tracked for you. Questions get answered when you have them — not at $400/hour, and not only in tax season.
About FS CPAs
A Houston firm that treats your money like it's ours
FS CPAs was built on a simple observation: most small business owners in Houston are either overpaying a big firm that barely knows their name, or underpaying software that can't answer a single question.
We sit in the middle on purpose. Small enough that you talk to the same CPA every time. Serious enough that your books are audit-ready and your returns are defensible. When you call, a person picks up — and that person knows your business.
We serve business owners, contractors, landlords, and families across Houston and Harris County, from The Heights to Sugar Land to Katy.

Common questions
Before you call, you might be wondering…
How much do your services cost?
Every situation is different — a W-2 return and a three-entity LLC clean-up aren't the same job. That's why we quote a fixed price after a free 15-minute conversation, so you know the exact cost before we start. No hourly billing surprises.
I'm years behind on my bookkeeping. Can you help?
Yes — catch-up work is one of the most common things we do. Whether it's six months or several years, we'll rebuild your books from bank statements and records, get everything reconciled, and set up a monthly system so it never piles up again.
Do I really need a CPA, or is tax software enough?
If your return is a single W-2 and nothing else, software may be fine. The moment you have a business, rental property, 1099 income, or an LLC, the math changes — software doesn't know your situation, can't plan ahead, and won't represent you if the IRS asks questions. Most business clients find our fee pays for itself in deductions alone.
Can everything be done remotely?
Absolutely. Documents are exchanged through a secure portal, meetings happen by phone or video, and returns are e-filed. Many of our Houston clients have never set foot in an office — and prefer it that way.
What if I get a letter from the IRS?
Send it to us first — before you panic and before you respond. Most IRS notices are routine and resolvable. As your CPA, we review the notice, explain what it actually means, and handle the response on your behalf.
When should I reach out — isn't tax season over?
Now is actually the best time. Mid-year is when tax strategy saves real money — adjusting estimates, restructuring an entity, catching up books before year-end. Clients who call in July have far better Aprils than clients who call in March.
